The princely state of Rajputana, now Rajasthan, is easily the most colorful region of India. Rajasthan has many things to offer for the tourist - numerous forts and palaces, golden sand dunes, stunning desert scenery and some of the most well known wildlife sanctuaries.

Bharatpur is a world heritage site housing rare avian species and Ranthambore is one of the most famous tiger sanctuaries.
